The Christmas Party Angel

This afternoon the grandchildren will be going to a Christmas dinner and party with their parents. I hope they all have a blast! (This is the latest picture of “Little Angel”– Angelika. She is a giggler!

I just spent time on the Lower Mainland visiting with my little granddaughters. A-1 (age 2) cried “No bye-bye” when it was time to leave (breaking my heart). A-2 (7 weeks) is at that animated, adorable smiles and cooing stage… she has been smiling since she was 3 weeks old and we’ve missed it all until this weekend!

While visiting with Ed’s neice, the book On Becoming Baby Wise: Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep was brought up. It sounded mighty alluring to parents who average 2-3 hours of sleep a night… apparently the authors have figured out a way to have the baby sleep through the night within a very short period of time. Worth a read I guess. I’m going to reserve comment until I do.
