About GrannyX

At the outset of this blog I was a long-distance Granny. My granddaughter, the lovely Alyza, lived with her Mommy and Daddy in the faraway Philippines. In November, 2006, they moved to Canada. October 7, 2007, the Amazing Alyza was gifted with her little sister, the Angelic Angelika, who weighed in at 9# 2 oz. In the not-too-distant future they are returning to the Philippines for a visit with their “Lola” (Granny) over there.

Secondary to being a Granny, I am also a wife, mother, ToastMasters member, Comprehensive Life Coach, EFT practitioner, an Essential Oils advocate, and a Churchlady nerd. Because my grandchildren don’t live nearby, I have involved myself with local kids whose grandparents don’t live near them (I help out with kids’ programs at Church).

In January/08 I am going to begin volunteering with the local Pregnancy Care Centre.
